Terms & Conditions
Please read the policies for our electrical systems.
Job Coverage
Our team only performs tasks detailed in your signed quote. Any additional requests required outside this document will necessitate a new written cost variation or signed approval before we proceed with the work.
Quotes & Hidden Structural Variables
Proposals reflect the visible state of the property during our walkthrough. Obscured wiring, foundational decay, blocked access points, outdated panels, or code violations found behind walls may result in mandatory adjustments to the materials needed and the final labor costs associated with the project.
Scope Changes
Work surpassing the initial agreement—due to owner requests, hidden defects, city inspector demands, or manufacturer updates—requires a formal change order. These shifts in planning will involve increased service fees to ensure everything meets modern safety protocols.
Evaluation & Call-Out Fees
Our diagnostic fees encompass logistics, site safety checks, and professional troubleshooting by our experts. You are responsible for these costs regardless of whether you choose to authorize the full repair.
Testing Constraints
Finding faults depends on active symptoms during our visit. Intermittent surges or wiring buried deep within the structure that doesn't trigger during our inspection may require follow-up visits and further professional workmanship to fully resolve the issue.
Billing Cycle
Clients must settle accounts based on the dates listed on their specific invoices. We may request upfront material costs or milestone installments for larger residential projects in compliance with local trade regulations.
Filings, Permits & Local Fees
Overdue accounts accrue interest and may be sent to third-party recovery services as permitted by law to settle outstanding balances.
Grant & Rebate Programs
Mandatory city inspections, permit filings, and utility processing fees are excluded from our base pricing unless we have explicitly listed them as a line item in your project's final approved proposal.
Third-Party Hardware
Grid shutdowns and meter timing are managed by the utility provider, not our crew. Next Phase is not liable for project delays caused by agency backlogs, scheduling shifts, or new requirements mandated by the local power company.
Pre-existing Infrastructure
Tax credits and energy rebates are managed by government or utility agencies with their own sets of rules. While we provide documentation to help you apply, we cannot guarantee your final eligibility or the exact dollar amount of your refund.
Regulatory Rules
Next Phase ensures all precision installation work adheres to current electrical safety standards for the areas we touch. Old wiring in other parts of your building is not our responsibility unless an inspector requires it to be updated to pass.
Wall & Surface Restoration
Patching drywall, repainting, or fixing masonry and landscaping disturbed during our process is the homeowner's duty. We focus on the electrical components and do not provide aesthetic finishing or construction repairs unless specified.
Entry & Power Cutoffs
Accessing wires often means cutting into surfaces or removing panels. Restoring these areas to their original cosmetic state is outside our scope, as we prioritize the professional workmanship of the internal electrical system.
High-Value Electronic Assets
Homeowners must clear a path to main panels, attics, and crawlspaces. Ensure all gates are unlocked and pets are secured so our technicians can safely reach the equipment needed to complete your precision installation.
Arrivals & Rescheduling
Should a city official or utility inspector demand changes to our plan to meet safety codes, those adjustments will be documented as a change order and billed according to the extra labor and parts required.
Service Warranty & Limitations
The individual signing for the project confirms they own the property or have the legal right to authorize our team to perform modifications and incur these specific service costs.
Liability Constraints
Safe upgrades often require us to kill the main power. By booking us, you agree that temporary blackouts are an essential part of the process for testing your breakers and ensuring a safe professional installation.
Final Agreement Terms
Please turn off and unplug all computers, servers, and sensitive medical devices before we arrive. We are not liable for data loss or hardware damage caused by necessary power cycling during our electrical service visit.
Expert Technicians & Vendors
Our timeline estimates depend on weather, material shipping, and permit approvals. While we strive for punctuality, we do not promise a specific finish date due to the many external variables involved in complex electrical projects.
Homeowner Disclosures
Failing to provide site access or canceling without proper notice may result in a mobilization fee. We value our technicians' time and require a clear workspace to maintain our standard of professional workmanship.
Policy Boundaries
Custom-ordered hardware or specialty light fixtures must be paid for in advance. Because these items are unique to your home, they are non-refundable once the order is placed with our distributors.
Mediation
Requests for help after business hours, on weekends, or during federal holidays will be billed at our premium emergency labor rates.
Binding Contract
If we find that the job site is hazardous or the requested task violates safety laws, Next Phase has the right to pause the project until the site is brought up to a workable standard.
Agreement Updates
We reserve the right to decline working on 'live' or energized lines if the environment is unstable. Safety is our priority, and precision installation requires a controlled, de-energized environment whenever possible.
Digital Signatures
Old breakers or faulty existing circuits may fail when we test the system. Next Phase is not responsible for repairing ancient or poorly maintained hardware that breaks due to its own age rather than our specific professional workmanship.
Partial Unity
If one part of this contract is found invalid by a court, the rest stays in effect.
Legal Venue
These service terms are governed specifically by California state laws.
